It's official: I'm spending a full month on the ocean shores of Cape Breton.

Alone.

Avery spends most of her time hunched over a laptop, writing the kind of words that end upon website homepages and glossy brochures. But ever since "The One" turned out to be theone who smashed her heart to bits, the page has been relentlessly blank. And blank pages mean an empty bank account.

When an up-market retreat center offers Avery a major project, she jumps at the chance topay next month's bills. But taking the job means committing to a change of scenery tojumpstart her failing creative spark. A cottage by the sea won't be lonely...right?

Actually, it's anything but. Because Logan, once the only person in the world Avery couldrely on, is working the front desk. And just like that, Avery's past catches up to her. It's toomuch and too wonderful all at once. Too...everything.

But with Logan beside her, it might not be too late - if Avery can make peace with their past.

I loved reading about Avery's summer, I felt sorry for her that her long term boyfriend had just dumped her and I don't blame her for wanting to spend a month alone somewhere completely different by the ocean. I loved how we were introduced to Logan, and from that initial meeting you could just tell that he was a really caring person.

I liked how the storyline developed and how the past between Avery and Logan was finally revealled and we also learned about Avery's life living with panic attacks and constant worry. There were some really special scenes throughout this book that were really lovely to read.

I felt very invested with the relationship between Avery and Logan and hoped that things would develop between them but we needed to find out what Logan was hiding too. There was a lot going on and a busy four weeks at the cabin and I thought that we were going to be left in suspense but I needn't have worried - it was all wrapped up and then end which was good.
