Kim Jacobs believes that she is happily married, until her husband tells her he is leaving her. Forced to re-evaluate her life on the same day that her son leaves for university, Kim is shocked to find herself sleeping in the spare room of his college flatshare.

I loved this book!! I loved our main character Kim who behaves exactly as you’d expect after her husband Richard’s revelations after his birthday party! But then she takes it to a whole new level which is just brilliant.

I thought the storyline was great and loved the fact that I was almost squirming with her at the student digs! Sonny was just the BEST character I’ve had the pleasure of reading in a while and he had me in stitches throughout the book.

I thought all of our supporting characters were great and thought they all really added to the story. It was really well written and I was intrigued to see how it was ending. I was surprised as we were getting near to the end but was VERY pleased with how it ended.

I really wish there would be another book to catch up with our characters and see what they have been up to as I feel that I have grown quite fond of them.
