For Sabre Orin Brown, life is good; she has it all...or would have, if only she could solve the mysterious disappearance of her brother. As a juvenile court attorney, she takes on a case defending a nine-year-old whose father will stop at nothing to gain custody.
In her search for answers, she finds herself immersed in a web of deceit and revenge that leads her across the country and five years into the past. Confronted with mysterious clues and strange occurrences, Sabre is in danger of losing everything--even her life--as her quest for the truth intensifies.

This had me hooked from the start and I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved the storyline and loved the twists that we had along the way. I really enjoyed the fact that it dealt with juvenile court which makes it different to other court based books that I have read.
I liked our main character Sabre, it comes across that she really cares for her clients and it is great that we got to find out about her personally and not just professionally. I also love the relationship she has with Bob and the banter that they share.
I just don't know where I have been though as this is book one of fourteen!!! It looks like I have some reading to do!
Huge thanks to Love Books Tours and Teresa Burrell for allowing me to take part in the blog tour in exchange for a free honest review.
