When neatly packed male body parts wash up by the River Elbe, Hamburg State Prosecutor Chastity Riley and her colleagues begin a perplexing investigation.
As the murdered men are identified, it becomes clear that they all had a history of abuse towards women, leading Riley to wonder if it would actually be in society's best interests to catch the killers.
But when her best friend Carla is attacked, and the police show little interest in tracking down the offenders, Chastity takes matters into her own hands. As a link between the two cases emerges, horrifying revelations threaten Chastity's own moral compass, and put everything at risk…

I enjoyed this book, I thought that the storyline was good and even though I had worked out who it was I didn't fully know! (It'll make sense if you read it!) There was times when I thought that some one else was involved but I am glad that they weren't.
I loved that the chapters were short as that seemed to make me fly through the book. I haven't read book one in the series but I don't feel that is matters. Our main character Chastity isn't what I class as a likeable character from the off, but I didn't dislike her either. She definitely grew on me as the story went along and by the end I felt quite sorry for her to be honest.
I'm quite intrigued as to what is next as we were introduced to some characters that just seem like they will cause trouble in the future so think it would be an interesting read!
Huge thanks to Random Things Tours, Simone Buchholz & Orenda Books for my place on the blog tour.
