Snowed in at an isolated stately home in the Cotswolds with an assortment of eccentric characters, is not Inspector Busby’s idea of a fun way to spend the lead up to Christmas 1923.
Added to his troubles is the Honourable Flora Farrington who is insisting on posing as his wife.
It soon transpires that among the house guests is someone who will stop at nothing to steal some diplomatically sensitive papers.
Can Busby find the missing papers before the villain murders Flora?

I loved this little read! I liked our main characters of Flora and Busby; Flora is definitely a lady who knows her own mind and won’t be told otherwise! Busby is a police officer and is taking his job seriously even though he has to blow his cover.
I find that sometimes with short stories there isn’t always a great storyline, or the characters are a bit sloppy however with this book it is not the case, we have a clear storyline of the missing papers, and the characters were well portrayed and left me wanting more which is great!
This is a lovely quick festive mystery, and Anna has used her fabulous writing style to draw the readers into the characters and book very quickly. You can grab a copy of this for FREE by signing up to Anna’s newsletters here: https://mailchi.mp/cc33f2ab6be0/the-cotswold-writer-sign-up-form
